Draw mask shape on tag board and cut with a hobby knife. Alternately, buy a plain mask to decorate or spice up an old mask.
Sketch out a design for the mask you want. Study the examples shown here to see how to layer colors and use shapes cut from tape. Using these techniques will make your mask unique. You won’t find these pre-made in a store!
Apply tape according to your design and carefully cut excess tape off the back. Make sure to tape only on the front of the mask, so the tape doesn’t touch your face.
Use a hole punch to make one hole on each side. Attach the string through the holes.
EXPERT TIP: Cut additional shapes, such as stars or lightning bolts, from the tag board and glue to your mask with Scotch® Clear Glue in 2-Way Applicator to give a 3-D look.
