Apply Expressions Washi Tape* in fun stripes and patterns to transform clear glass jars into desktop delights.

*May damage some substrates upon removal.

  • Soak jars in soapy water to remove all labels and food residue. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

  • Create a gingham pattern by placing three colors of tape side-by-side vertically and overlaying one color horizontally. Measure or eyeball for even spacing.

  • For a quilt pattern, place three strips of tape horizontally, then three vertically, to create two squares. Angle the squares or create different shapes as you like.

  • For a crosshatch pattern, place lengths of tape as a base diagonally, making the lengths shorter in a row. Then overlay with a different color at an angle.

  • To create a layered stripe, cut even lengths of tape. Layer each color about a third over the previous color, placing them at about a 45-degree angle around the jar horizontally.

  • EXPERT TIP: Use a straightedge and hobby knife to make the edges of your stripes even.
